I3 patients were treated by advancement genioplasty. According to the method of fixation of the genial segment, patients were grouped into two groups. In group (I) (7 patients), titanium miniplate was used in fixing the genial segment. In group (11)(6 patients), interosseous wiring wasused.At 6-9 monthspostoperatively, both methodsof fixationyieldedgoodstable results.
